I have openedYouTube today morning it shows message ?Your requested URL has been blocked as per the directions received from Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. Please contact administrator for more information.?. It seems YouTube has been blocked in India what so ever reason you can open YouTube video as follows in India:
You just to add "s" as https://www.youtube.com/ in video link of particular video instead http://www.youtube.com.
Even though different type of browsers shows similar error message, the problem can be solved just by adding "s" in http. There is no official information regarding YouTube ban in India.
