I was fairly interested in making interesting low end warships ca. 10 years back. All these horribly beweaponed behemoths probably never featured much in anyones games. If Suffren or Bismarck turns up your players aren't outfighting it. The low end seemed to offer more interesting possibilities. I was also playing with Attack Vector at the time, and it shows. Must get back to AV....

Admiral Brown V class ?fighter?*

The Adm Brown class has been through numerous changes.Indeed its century of service see the Browns beingessentially a completely different ship, certainly thecurrent Mk V is so radically different that refittingolder ships to it is impossible to refit them to thecurrent standard. Despite this, some older models docontinue in Argentine service due to lack of resourcesto replace them.

The Adm Brown is typical of Argentina?s model of aspaceforce, which draws heavily upon submarine serviceand airforce traditions. This medium sized vessel isfairly fast, and carries heavy hull weapons, and alarge missile complement (sing the extremely smalldrive EM-5 series missiles which use minimal amountsof tantalum). As usual for Argentina, the weaponssystems stress a small number of high damage pulses,and indeed, in combat Brazilian starships often findtheir armour offers them no effective protection.

Indeed, the main Brazilian response to Argentinetactics of massing fair large ?wolf packs? of smaller
but deadly vessels has been to disperse their combatpower even more. Starfighters have become more
important in the Brazilian orbat.

Argentina is excellent at concealing ship numbers andlocations. Given their strategic disadvantages, they
have acquitted themselves extremely well.

Kedves Mindenki!

Először is köszönjük mindenkinek, aki eljött a nyílt napra, meg azoknak is, akik lélekben voltak velünk! 

Reggel már mindenki nagyon be volt zsongva, nagyon vártuk a vendégeket. Reggeli után előkészítettük a kenyérlángoshoz a tésztát (a fiatalok dagasztották) és a különböző ízesítésű tejfölöket. 






Miután ezzel végeztünk, csináltunk egy csoportképet, majd elkezdtek szivárogni a vendégek. Nagyon boldog volt mindenki a szeretteink viszontlátásától, de közben meg szomorú is, hogy vége a tábornak.
A padláson a csapat közösen tartott egy előadást a vendégeknek arról, hogy miket csináltunk a táborban, ki mit tanult és milyen munkálatokat végzett.

Betti és Csaba, a vendéglátóink is nagyon nagy megelégedéssel meséltek a két táborról és azok résztvevőiről, hogy a szülők igazán büszkék lehetnek rájuk. 


Az előadás után körbevezettük a vendégeket a tanyán és megmutattuk nekik a helyszíneket, állatokat élőben is. 






Régi és új ismerősök is köszöntötték az állatokat. 





Közben készült a kenyérlángos is, amit jóízűen fogyasztottunk már mindannyian együtt.
Délután eljött a búcsú ideje, sokan elindultak, páran még lovagoltak a Hajnal nevű lovon. 4 óra körül kiürült a tábor. 

A nyílt napról a képeket Havas Dani készítette (a tábor során végig lelkesen készített fotókat és videókat). Köszönjük neki!!


Nagyon hálásak vagyunk mindenkinek, aki lehetővé tette, hogy ez a tábor megrendezésre kerülhessen és mindenkinek, aki részt vett benne. Reméljük lesz még folytatás!! Nagyon várjuk!

I met a woman once who created an exquisite work of tapestry for each of her friends for their 30th birthday. There are two sides to a work of tapestry. Presented in a frame, her friends saw only the perfect piece.

In using the metaphor of tapestry, the King acknowledges not only the beauty of His Beloved's hair, but also the care, time and effort she put into its style.

Hard work goes on behind the scenes to create a successful outcome in any situation. To have that dedication acknowledged spurs us on.

Our spiritual life is no different, and we have a God who acknowledges and encourages us to grow in maturity until the end.

Read and reflect on this magnificent declaration St Paul makes as he nears the end of his life.

6As for me, I am already being poured out as a libation, and the time of my departure has come.7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.8From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.2 Timothy 4:6-8
