A distinguished Cultural Administrator of India. Was Secretary to Sahitya Akademi and Minister (Culture), Indian High Commission, London and Director, The Nehru Centre, London.� Was Member Secretary and Academic Director, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, New Delhi.
